From Glory to Glory Carrying the Presence of God
October 10, 2026
Believers are joined to the Lord by Holy Spirit and carry His presence into the world. As we draw near in worship, prayer, faith, and obedience, He enlarges our spiritual perception, transforms us from glory to glory, and works through our ordinary words and actions.
The gathering opened with a prophetic word that Holy Spirit was reconstituting spiritual hearing, understanding, and vision. From there, the teaching unfolded around the identity and calling of Spirit-filled believers. God has chosen His people in Christ, joined them to the Lord, and entrusted them with His indwelling presence. Their prayers are not confined to the people in one room, and their influence is not limited to moments that feel dramatic. As believers draw near, honor the Lord, and yield themselves in faith, Holy Spirit works through prayer, worship, mercy, and simple acts of obedience. Communion brought the message back to its foundation: this life and calling are possible because of Jesus, His body given for us, and the covenant established through His blood.

Opening Prophetic Words
Prophetic Word to the Group
At the beginning of the gathering, a prophetic word was directed to the group. The wording below has been kept close to the transcript, with only light editing where the automatic transcription was unclear.
“The Holy Spirit is reconstituting some things so that you will hear more precisely and more clearly. There have been prayers spoken here by some of you—maybe all of you for Him to prepare you for this season. Reconstituting means He takes what is already there and makes it better. This is a better thing He is doing in you for clarity—for your future, for vision, for hearing, and for seeing.”
The group was then invited to place their hands over their eyes, ears, and the place described as Holy Spirit's residence within, and to receive what the Lord desired to do.
“Lord, anoint my eyes to see. Anoint my ears to hear Your Word. I receive from the Lord what He has for me. Reconstitute my hearing and understanding in the ways of Your wisdom. I receive it now.”
Enlarging the Vision of Prayer
Prayer Is Not Confined to the Room
The teacher explained that Holy Spirit deepens our spiritual understanding and leads us into new opportunities for prayer and ministry. What God does in a small gathering can reach far beyond those present. As members of Christ’s body, we pray for the larger body of believers—a minister in Oklahoma City, a homemaker in northwest Oklahoma, or believers in other nations. The reach of prayer is not limited by the number of people praying or the walls surrounding them.
Isaiah’s picture of enlarging the place of the tent and stretching out its curtains offers an invitation to expand our vision and make room for what God desires to do (Isaiah 54:2). The prayer of Jabez supplies a related picture of asking God to enlarge one’s territory (1 Chronicles 4:10). The teacher connected this enlargement with faithful attention to Holy Spirit. As we respond to His leading, He can open new ways for prayer and ministry to reach others, extending our influence beyond familiar surroundings.
.
Co-Laboring with God Through Holy Spirit
The teacher explained that Spirit-led prayer is a profound privilege. Holy Spirit can pray through a yielded believer according to the heart of God, and the Father answers in harmony with His own will. Believers serve as willing vessels through whom God's purposes are voiced in the earth. This does not magnify the vessel; it magnifies the One who works through the believer.
Genesis 1 describes humanity receiving dominion under God. The teacher connected that fact with delegated authority in prayer, saying that believers can give voice to what God is saying and become co-laborers with Him. The more readily they say, 'Lord, use me,' the more they bring their hearts and minds near to Him and become available for His work. Even when no one on earth sees the result, Spirit-led prayer produces eternal fruit.
Chosen, Sealed, and Joined to the Lord
Every Spiritual Blessing in Christ
Ephesians 1:3-4 declares that the Father has blessed believers with every spiritual blessing in Christ and chose them in Him before the foundation of the world. The teacher lingered over the wonder of that truth. Before human history unfolded, God's purpose already included a people set apart for Himself. The body of Christ was not an afterthought; it was part of His desire for a family formed in His image and likeness.
The teaching emphasized that the spiritual blessing is not merely a collection of benefits. God gives His own Spirit. Through Holy Spirit, the love of God is poured into believers' hearts (Romans 5:5), and everything God desires to accomplish through His people flows from His presence rather than their independent ability.
One Spirit with the Lord
First Corinthians 6:17 says that the one joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. The teacher used this passage to describe the believer's deep union and fellowship with God. Through Christ, believers are brought into living fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, sharing in God’s life and growing to reflect His character. Ephesians 1:13 further describes believers as sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. Their spiritual identity is therefore grounded in God's work, not in the instability of feelings or circumstances.
First John 3:1 marvels that believers are called children of God. The teacher explained that God wanted a family and that He continually reminds His children who they are in Him. Natural responsibilities can distract attention, but ordinary life does not cancel spiritual identity. The indwelling Spirit remains present while believers work, shop, serve, and carry out daily tasks.
Faith Pleases God
The present life is lived by faith. Hebrews 11:6 teaches that faith pleases God, and the teacher emphasized that choosing to yield to Holy Spirit without visible proof is precious to Him. When a believer says, 'Holy Spirit, take charge. Do more through me,' that response honors God because it is freely offered in trust and love.
Drawing near is both invitation and response. God draws His people, and James 4:8 calls them to draw near to Him. As they lean toward Him, desire more of Him, and remain attentive to His presence, He produces fruit that may be invisible on earth but is significant in heaven.
Carrying the Presence of God
Glory in Ordinary Encounters
The teacher stressed that believers often do not recognize how much they carry. A sincere smile toward a cashier may become a spiritual act when that person has not encountered kindness or hope for a long time. The cashier may not consciously recognize God's presence, yet Holy Spirit can use a simple expression of love to touch a heart He has already been preparing.
To illustrate this, the teacher repeated a testimony attributed to Kenneth Copeland. During a hurried airport encounter, a man in crisis approached him and asked for help. There was little time and no dramatic feeling, but a brief prayer was offered in Jesus' name. The man later reported that God had set him free and that he had entered ministry. The lesson was not to depend on emotion or outward evidence. God can act through simple obedience when faith receives what He gives.
The Glory of God and the Living Temple
Isaiah 60:1 calls God's people to arise and shine because their light has come. The teacher connected this light with the presence of God. She recalled the glory that filled Solomon's temple so strongly that the priests could not stand to minister. She then connected Haggai's promise that the glory of the later temple would be greater with the day Jesus Himself entered the temple. The greater glory was not merely architectural; God had come among His people in the person of Christ.
Through the new covenant, believers now carry the indwelling presence of God. The teacher described them as living temples who carry the Shekinah glory—the manifest presence of God. A religious structure or ritual cannot substitute for that presence. As believers pray, lay hands on others, or simply obey a prompting of Holy Spirit, God's presence can bring salvation, freedom, and awakening to another person.
Others May Not Recognize What You Carry
Many people in Jesus' day did not recognize the glory of God in Him, even while He healed the sick and ministered in and around the temple. In the same way, others may not recognize Holy Spirit's presence in a believer. Recognition is not the measure of faithfulness. The calling is to remain near to God, stay available, and allow His presence to reach those who are searching.
Prophetic Encouragement to the Group
During this portion of the teaching, several statements were given as prophetic encouragement to the group. They are gathered here and kept close to the transcript:
“You are My treasures. I want you to know how much you are being used by Holy Spirit. There is an obedience side to it: you say, 'Lord, use me,' and you move your hearts and minds closer to Me so I can use you in ways you have never seen—more than you can ask or imagine.”
“I have more. I have so much more for you. You are living in the time of the Holy Spirit. You do not realize how much you carry, and you do not realize how much you do even when your mind does not understand it.”
“Stay close to Me, because even your presence will bring My presence into people's lives when they are searching. Keep alert, because more and more people will come to you. They will recognize that there is something more, and they will be hungry.”
Transformed from Glory to Glory
Freedom and the Removing of the Veil
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (NIV)
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Second Corinthians 3:16-18 became the clearest summary of the gathering. When a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. As believers behold the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, they are transformed into His image from glory to glory by the Spirit. The change God desires is therefore not produced by the flesh. The human spirit hungers for God, and Holy Spirit carries out the transformation as the believer looks toward Him.
The image of reconstitution returned here. God tends His field, removes weeds, and strengthens good fruit. He may expose unforgiveness, distractions, attachments, or habits that must be released. This is not rejection; it is freedom. God removes what competes with His presence so that His people can grow in glory and reflect Him more clearly.
Worship Awakens Spiritual Awareness
The teacher encouraged believers to approach Scripture, worship, and ordinary tasks with reverence. Listening to worship while doing dishes can become genuine fellowship when the heart is honoring God. His presence is already with the believer, but worship makes the inner person more alert and responsive to Him. Awe, gratitude, and honor position the heart to perceive what Holy Spirit is doing.
Honoring God with Our Free Will
One statement especially impressed the teacher: God honors human free will so deeply that He does not force it. Love responds voluntarily. First Samuel 2:30 says that God honors those who honor Him. As believers willingly honor Him, draw near, and choose awareness of His presence, they grow in favor and become a greater influence upon others—even when that influence is not immediately visible.
Communion and the Life of the Covenant
Remembering the Whole Body of Christ
Communion gathered the entire teaching into one act of remembrance. The group remembered absent members, other prayer groups, Christian brothers and sisters, those for whom they regularly interceded, and the global reach of prayer. Communion was described as participation in the body of Christ and an expression of love toward fellow believers and toward those who do not yet know the Lord.
The teacher thanked Jesus that, as He hung on the cross, He knew those who would receive the covenant. God's purpose was that people would be made free and receive Holy Spirit. The sacrifice of Christ therefore stands beneath every part of the teaching: spiritual perception, union with the Lord, freedom, transformation, prayer, and service all flow from what Jesus accomplished.
The Bread
“Lord, as we take this bread, You said, 'Remember Me.' We remember the covenant. We remember the joy. We remember the peace. We remember Your presence. We thank You for it. In Jesus' name, we take the bread, and we worship You.”
The bread called the group to remember Christ's body given for them and also the people who together form His body. It connected personal fellowship with Christ to love, prayer, and responsibility toward others.
The Cup and the Completed Remembrance
After the bread was received, the group continued with the cup. The cup points to the blood of Jesus and the new covenant through which believers receive forgiveness, freedom, and fellowship with God. The bread and cup together declare that the life of the Spirit is not achieved by human striving; it is received through Christ's finished work and lived in grateful dependence upon Him. *“Lord, with this cup we worship You and receive your completed work.”
The Call to Live Aware of His Presence
Holy Spirit is not confined to a meeting, a dramatic prayer, or a moment of strong emotion. He lives within God's people and desires to work through them every day. The invitation is to enlarge our vision, listen more clearly, draw near in worship, release whatever hinders freedom, and remain available for simple obedience. A prayer may reach far beyond the room. A smile may carry light. A brief act of faith may become the moment another person encounters God.
We do not have to manufacture glory or force transformation. We behold the Lord, honor His presence, and yield our free will to Him. The Spirit then does what only He can do: He removes the veil, brings freedom, and changes us from glory to glory into the image of Christ.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for choosing us in Christ and giving us Your Holy Spirit. Enlarge our hearts, our vision, and our hunger for You. Reconstitute our hearing and understanding so that we recognize Your voice and respond in wisdom. Teach us to remain close to You, to pray beyond what we can see, and to honor You with our free will. Remove every veil, weed, distraction, and offense that hinders Your work. Make us alert to the people You are preparing, and let Your presence bring light, freedom, mercy, and salvation through our ordinary lives. As we remember the body and blood of Jesus, keep us grounded in Your covenant and transform us from glory to glory. In Jesus' name, amen.
