Psalm 100:4 (KJV)

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Devotional Reading
Thanksgiving and reverence belong together as you approach the Lord. You are coming before the King!!! Bring Him your gratitude and a heart willing to listen. Although Yom Kippur has passed, its emphasis on repentance and seeking God offers a reminder that reaches beyond that day. Fellowship with Him includes an ongoing willingness to receive His correction and respond to what He reveals.
The simple question, “Lord, is there anything You want to show me?” expresses a heart open to His guidance. Repentance becomes more than a passing feeling as you respond with faith and obedience. That openness also shapes your prayers for your family, the nation, and Israel. Your fellowship with the Father can deepen your desire for others to know Him, including Jewish people searching the Scriptures, that they would recognize Jesus as their Messiah.
Today's Confession
I approach the Lord with thanksgiving and reverence. My heart is open to His correction, and I respond with repentance and obedience. I treasure His Word and give attention to His direction. I stand in faith as I pray for others to recognize Jesus through the Scriptures.
