Day 3 of 7

Day 3: Let Your Life Express Your Faith

Shuttering the Past: A 7-Day Journey Forward in the Father's Love

Anchor Scriptures

Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Devotional Reading

A faithful life can leave an impression that is not immediately visible. The kindness you practice and the way you speak about Jesus may become part of someone's preparation to seek Him. You do not have to control that person's response. Your responsibility is to remain faithful in how you live and love.

When someone you care about has not responded as you hoped, discouragement can make you impatient. Bring that concern to the Lord rather than trying to force a spiritual decision. Continue to express your faith honestly and treat the person with care. Trust God with the work you cannot accomplish in another heart.

Today's Confession

Through Christ, my words and actions will reflect the faith I profess. With Holy Spirit’s help, I choose to see each person I encounter through God’s eyes and respond with patience and love. I am attentive to opportunities to share Jesus, trusting Him for courage and wisdom to speak. I remain faithful in doing good and trust God to work in the hearts of those I encounter.

5-Minute Journal Prompt

Who is observing your life, and what could your conduct help them understand about the faith you profess?

Prayer Activation Exercise

Bring one person who does not yet know Jesus before the Father. Ask Him to prepare their heart and give you wisdom in your relationship. Choose one sincere act of kindness without making their response a condition of your care.
