Day 7 of 7
Moving Forward in Love and Obedience
Shuttering the Past and Moving Forward in Love
Anchor Scriptures
John 14:15 (NKJV)
If you love me, keep my commandments.
Galatians 5:1 (NKJV)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Matthew 18:19 (NKJV)
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
Devotional Reading
Moving forward is a daily response to what God has revealed. Release what He is closing, remain secure in the righteousness you have received in Christ, and let the Father’s love shape your words and choices. Stay attentive to the Holy Spirit, ready to obey, serve, share the gospel, and intercede for others. Do not treat prayer as a single moment and then forget the matter; continue faithfully and trust God with the outcome. As revelation becomes obedience, you will carry His purposes, love, truth, and authority into the days ahead.
Today's Confession
“Father, I receive Your call to move forward. I release what You are shuttering, remain secure in who I am in Christ Jesus, and choose to walk in love and obedience. I will treasure Your Word, listen to the Holy Spirit, walk in kindness, remain ready to serve, and faithfully pray for others. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
5-Minute Journal Prompt
Looking back over these seven days, what is God asking you to leave behind, and what is He asking you to move forward into? Write one practical commitment for the days ahead.
Prayer Activation Exercise
Spend five minutes thanking God for His love and for what He has revealed during this devotional. Then ask the Holy Spirit to help you carry that revelation into your daily life through love, obedience, prayer, and readiness to serve. You can do this!
