Speaking the Word in Intercession
Shuttering the Past and Moving Forward in Love
Anchor Scriptures
Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
Matthew 18:19 (ESV)
Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
Devotional Reading
REVELATION BECOMES RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT MOVES YOU TO PRAY! Instead of only thinking, worrying, or talking about the needs around you, bring them before God and speak His Word aloud. Your authority in intercession rests in the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, and the truth of Scripture. Refuse to let fear-filled or destructive declarations of the enemy have the final word. Learn what is happening; pray specifically, and agree with Gods’ purposes with understanding and perseverance.
Today's Confession
“Father, I choose to respond to what You have revealed through prayer. I will not allow fear or discouragement to govern my responses. I will speak Your Word, pray in the name of Jesus, and agree with what You have spoken. Teach me to pray with understanding and perseverance. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
5-Minute Journal Prompt
What situation has been producing fear, discouragement, or negative words around you? Write a prayer based on Scripture that expresses what you are asking God to reveal, establish, or change.
Prayer Activation Exercise
Choose one area of concern for your family, community, nation, or governing leaders. Pray aloud using Scripture and the name of Jesus. Continue praying beyond a few minutes, asking God for truth to be revealed and righteous leadership to be established.
