Devotional Reading
Communion draws your attention back to the Father’s love and the finished work of Jesus. The bread calls you to remember Christ’s body given for you; the cup calls you to remember His blood and the covenant established through His sacrifice. As you receive this grace, also remember that you have been joined to Christ and made part of His body. Your choices do not affect you alone. Union with Christ invites you to live with holiness, love, and responsibility toward the other members of His family.
Today's Confession
“Father, I remember Your great love in sending Your Son. I thank You for the finished work of Jesus and for joining me to Christ as part of His body. Let my words and actions reflect the holiness, love, and responsibility that belong to someone who is united with You. Amen.”
5-Minute Journal Prompt
Consider the truth that your actions affect the wider family of faith. Is there an area where you need to become more mindful of how your choices affect others?
Prayer Activation Exercise
Take a quiet moment to remember the Father’s love and the finished work of Christ Jesus. Then pray for your family of faith, asking God to help you walk in holiness, love, and responsibility toward one another.
